LEGISLATIVE ACHIEVEMENTS
 
Milestone Legislation
  • SP-6126, S-2014 Resolution enjoining all food concessionaires, establishments, and stalls within the Quezon City Hall Complex, Novaliches District Center, all city public medical and educational facilities and institutions, and barangay hall premises to observe organic unpolished brown rice consumption day every Tuesday and to always make organic unpolished brown rice available in their menu and food offering daily.
  • SP-5955, S-2014 Resolution urging the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD, in coordination with its partner agencies, to require the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4ps) to participate in relevant barangay-led programs about environment preservation for at least four (4) hours every month, as an additional condition for their continued receipt of cash grant.
  • SP-6124, S-2014 Resolution enjoining the one hundred forty-two barangays in Quezon City to hire, employ, or designate a social worker who shall handle all family and community-related cases and concerns, and shall implement, coordinate, manage, and organize pertinent social services programs, and projects.
  • SP-2360, S-2014 An ordinance adopting a Magna Carta for Micro and Small Business Enterprises in Quezon City.
  • PO 19CC-552 Ordinance providing comprehensive development programs for the workers in the informal economy in Quezon City, appropriating necessary funds therefor and for other purposes. Calendared for second reading on March 14, 2016
  • PO19CC-546 An ordinance establishing a public mortuary in every district in Quezon City and providing the necessary funds therefor.

  • PO19CC-547 An ordinance mandating all house owners, lessees and operators to register the names of tenants, renters, boarders, bed spacers or transients, whose stay in the barangay is for a period of one week or more in the barangay registry.
